 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). ADIYAN WATERWORKS IN LAGOS,TO BE SHUT DOWN FROM TOMORROW FOR MAINTENANCE.

Image result for adiyan water works               Lagos Water Corporation has announced that there will be a temporary shutdown of Adiyan Waterworks from Monday 12th-Tuesday 13th June 2017,for routine maintenance exercise.A statement issued today by the Managing Director/CEO,Lagos Water Corporation,Engr. Muminu Badmus at his Ijora office,said the exercise became necessary for optimal water production and supply capacity to the service areas of the water plant.According to the statement,''the areas that will be affected by the maintenance works are Ketu,Alapere,Omole Phase I & II,Ogudu,Isheri Oke,Amuwo,Itire,Orile Iganmu,and Sari-Iganmu''.Badmus said the disruption in water supply to the listed areas will only last for a short period of time and assured Lagosians of the Corporation's commitment towards providing sufficient potable water supply in the State.
