EFCC Arraigns Three Indians, Nigerian for Alleged Criminal Breach of Trust The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 arraigned three Indians, Lalit Sarwat, Ravi Raghavendra and Gagan Sarswat—alongside an Ilorin-based dispatch manager, Oniyide Samuel, before Justice Sulaiman Akanbi of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin They were arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and criminal breach of trust, contrary to and punishable under Sections 97 and 314 of the Penal Code. The Commission alleged that the defendants, while being servants in the employment of KAM Steel Integrated Company Limited, conspired among themselves between November 2024 and September 2025 to commit criminal breach of trust. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,yesterday June 29th,2017 arraigned one Adenike Aki nola and her company Maybond Nigeria Limited before Honourable Justice Bello Duwale of the Sokoto State High Court on a three count charge bordering on Conspiracy,Obtaining by False Pretense and Issuance of dud cheque.The Accused person allegedly obtained the sum of N1,900,000 from the complainant under the pretext that she would supply him with Thailand Parboiled Rice but dishonestly converted the money and in the process of trying to pay him back,she issued him with a cheque of the equivalent sum which subsequently bounced on presentation.Justice Bello subsequently granted the accused bail in the sum of N1,500,000 {One Million,Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only} and remanded her in EFCC custody pending fulfilment of the bail conviction.The case has been adjourned to October 3rd,2017 for commencement of trial.
