TROOPS OF OPERATION UDOKA DISMANTLE CRIMINAL SYNDICATE, RECOVER STOLEN WEAPONS Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDOKA through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have recorded a significant operational success with the arrest of key members of a notorious criminal syndicate responsible for the ambush of troops on 4 May 2026. Unfortunately, the ambush claimed the life of one soldier and left another wounded. Following the attack, troops launched a series of intelligence-led raids aimed at apprehending the perpetrators and recovering weapons stolen during the incident. These sustained operations resulted in the arrest of the suspects. On Saturday 15th July 2017,the Chief of Army Staff,Lt Gen TY Buratai in continuation with activities marking the activation of 6 Division Nigerian Army,commissioned projects at Elele Barracks,Rivers State.These include Army Government Secondary School,Ngerian Army Officers Wives Association {NAOWA} Vocational Centre,1062 Brigade Workshop and Repai Bay,operational vehicles,as well as the new Squash Court.More photos below.
