 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. KEROSENE EXPLOSION KILLED 3 FAMILY MEMBERS & OTHERS FRIDAY EVENING AT ABIA STATE.{PHOTO}.

                                                                      According to one of my reporter Chinenye Genevieve who just sent in this photo with the caption ''One teenager was killed and three other family members including a mother,her daughter and grand child injured in a kerosene explosion yesterday evening in Agbaja Nkporo,Ohiafia LGA of Abia State.An eyewitness identified as Orji Ndukwe Henry said the explosion occurred when one of the victims filled a lantern with a product suspected to be an adulterated kerosene and ignited it for use by the family.He was unlucky and hot himself envoloped in the inferno that ensued.At the moment,the family and members of Agbaja Nkporo community are mourning the deceased as the survivors are in excruciating pains''.
