 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. Image may contain: 4 people, crowd                    Senate President Bukola Saraki shared on his social media some pictures as they welcomed the body of Ambassador Maitama Sule.He captioned all the photos ''This evening,I was humbled to join Governor Ganduje and other dignitaries to receive the body of the great Danmasannin Kano,Ambassador Maitama Sule.May the soul of the dear and departed Statesman be granted Al Jannah Firdaus''.Kano State government declared today tuesday July 4,2017 as public holiday to mourn his death.He died at a hospital in Cairo Egypt,where he was receiving treatment for an illness.The funeral prayer was conducted at the Emir's Palace,Kofar Kudu,around 4pm today.May his soul rest in perfect peace Amen.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
