 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status.       What this Constitution Review exercise represents is a foundation laying process that will create more opportunities for the young people in our nation.
Additionally, through this process, we have redefined our budget process and addressed numerous legal issues that have bogged us down for many years.
For example, for many years, as a nation, we have not been saving. Today’s Constitution Review has made it binding for us to save.
Additionally, we have shown our commitment to the fight against corruption by providing autonomy to the Attorney General and the Accountant General through this review. We have also guaranteed improved administration of our local governments, strengthened our democracy through more credible elections, and empowered our judiciary in the dispensation of justice
Most importantly, we have opened the road for a new Nigeria where younger people can run for elected positions, through the passage of the #NotTooYoungToRun Bill.
Now that we have laid a new foundation to improve our nation, I would like to thank you all for participating in this process!
