 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. EFCC GOMBE RECOVERED N110,820,O23.53 FOR THE PAST 7 MONTHS.{PHOTOS}.

Gombe zonal Head, Aminu Ado Aliyu disclosed this on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 during a press conference in Gombe. According to him, the zone also recorded seven convictions during the period under review. Still under the period, he said while 191 suspects were invited and undergoing investigation, 54 cases have been concluded and the cases at various stages of prosecution in various courts in the zone.More photos below.
