 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. From the photos he shared, the car appears to be a Toyota and is registered with a Lagos number "GGE 652 BZ"
He wrote.....
'This accident just occurred very close to lake filling station opposite Omagba phase 2 gate. Just now now. I witnessed it.Too sad. Check the plate number to know if its ur person'.More photos below.
