 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. GOVERNOR AMOSUN COUNSELS QUANTITY SURVEYORS ON BETTER SERVICE DELIVERY TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

Image may contain: 3 people, people standing                Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has charged quantity surveyors in the country to use modern technologies in the discharge of their duties, for better service delivery.
The governor, who gave the charge, when he received the leadership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), led by the National President, Mrs. Mercy Iyortyer, in his office yesterday, noted the strategic importance of professionals in the drive towards successful project development in the society.

Commending the institute for its role in the success of governance in the country, he said, "there can be no development without the professionalism of your industry."
He assured of his administration's continued support and collaboration with professional bodies to engender world best practices in project procurement and implementation.
Earlier in her remarks, Iyortyer noted that the provision of infrastructural facilities is very key to the development of any nation, commending the state government for giving infrastructural development priority.She acknowledged that the feat of the government in this regard, has continued to attract investors into the state.More photos below.
