 South Africa says US misrepresented its policies after visa curbs South Africa's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it ‌had noted with concern U.S. visa restrictions on some people from South Africa announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio a day earlier. The foreign ministry added in a statement that ⁠the U.S. announcement aligned with "the mischaracterisation of South Africa's domestic policies by fringe groups". "We maintain that challenges in our bilateral relations with the USA can only be resolved by constructive engagement through state actors on both sides of the diplomatic channel not unilateral acts," the statement said, Reuters reported. Trump has repeatedly criticized ‌South ⁠Africa since the start of his second term for what he falsely claims is the racial persecution of its white minority, citing affirmative action laws aimed at ⁠addressing the inequality that has persisted since apartheid. image            A Nigerian man is mourning following the reported loss of his wife just 11 days after their wedding. According to Reporters, a bride has reportedly lost her life just few days after getting married. The couple Zalman and Salim Sodangi got married in Abuja on the 19th of August. Sadly, Zainab passed away on Tuesday, August 29th. A friend, Maryam Musa hinted about the woman’s death saying: “She lost zainab today in the afternoon.” Family and friends have taken to social media to mourn the sad death of the woman.One more photo below.
