 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. EFCC IS SET TO AUCTION FORFEITED PETROLEUM PRODUCTS,VESSELS.{PHOTOS}.

     As part of arrangement to auction forfeited petroleum products and vessels which are proceeds of crimes seized from illegal oil bunkers the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 held a pre-bid meeting with shortlisted auctioneers at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja.
The Acting Chairman, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, told the participants that the process is part of the Commission’s transparency policy with the objective of giving every interested company a fair chance to participate in the exercise.Magu, who spoke through the Director of Procurement, EFCC, Olusina Ogundimu said that the purpose of the meeting was to educate the shortlisted bidders for the auction on the stipulated guidelines contained in the request for proposal (RFP) issued to them earlier.More photos below.
