 Anambra to go after houses without proper drainage in order to combat Erosion  Worried by the rising menace of gully erosion, the Anambra State Government has threatened to enforce regulations requiring residents to provide proper drainage for storm water from their homes. The State Executive Council (ANSEC), which announced the proposed enforcement, lamented that erosion remains an existential challenge in Anambra, blaming the situation on careless actions by some communities and lapses by regulatory bodies in enforcing environmental laws. Briefing journalists after the weekly executive council meeting, the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, said it had been observed that some residents channel storm water from their homes directly onto roads, where it accumulates and worsens the erosion crisis across the state. “ANSEC has resolved to step up enforcement to compel residents to properly channel and manage storm water from their houses. OGUN STATE TO HOLD MONTHLY SANITATION WITH RESTRICTION TOMORROW.

   Ogun State Government will hold its monthly environmental sanitation exercise across the State on Saturday, October 28, 2017 between 7am and 10am.
A release signed by the Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Bolaji Oyeleye indicated that there would be full restriction of human and vehicular movements across the 20 Local Government Areas of the State.The release further enjoined residents to comply with the restriction, as anyone who flouted the order risked government sanctions by the mobile court.It urged the residents to maintain clean and healthy environment by disposing their refuse and waste materials properly after the exercise, warning them to desist from bush burning which could lead to fire disasters as government would not relent at maintaining a clean environment.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
