 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.       The Lagos State Government has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Senukon Olufunmi Ajose-Harrison as substantive Director-General of the Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) Magodo.
Ajose-Harrison became Acting Director-General in May following the retirement of the immediate past Director-General, Mrs. Regina Olubunmi Fabamwo.
A seasoned human resources management professional and consummate capacity building expert, Senukon Olufunmi Ajose-Harrison is an alumnus of the Universities of Ibadan and Lagos where he obtained both the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Sociology and a Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) respectively.
Ajose-Harrison is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), a Chartered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), a member of the Nigerian Industrial Relations Association (NIRA), and the Nigerian Institute for Training and Development (NITAD).
In 1997, he joined the services of the Lagos State Government as pioneer Head of Planning and Research at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) Magodo rising through the ranks to become Director of Planning and Research until his appointment as Acting Director-General by the State Government in May 2017.He commenced his work career at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON).
