A Missing Indiana woman has been found deceased in a field after police ignored her family's desperate pleas to file a missing persons case. 45-year-old, Jamie Vlamos-Jones, was last seen on Wednesday, December 18th in Lake Station, Indiana. The family of Jamie quickly became concerned after having absolutely zero contact with her. They went to the police for much needed help. Sadly, their pleas fell on deaf ears. Family members say they tried to file a missing person's case with the Porter County Sheriff's Office on December 19th and 20th, however all attempts were unsuccessful. Due to the lack of police help in locating their missing loved one, the worried family was forced to seek the help of an independent search team. The independent search team was ultimately successful in locating Jamie, but in the most devastating way.
