 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.       Yesterday, I was conferred with the traditional title of ‘Enyioma Ikeduru’ (Good Friend of Ikeduru) by HRH Eze Festus Oguwuike Osuji, the Coordinator of Ndi-Eze Ikeduru.He also attended another Senators thanksgiving he wrote on social media '' in Imo, I was delighted to be able to attend Senator Sam Anyanwu’s Thanksgiving and Grand Civic Reception at the Imo Central Stadium.I must say, the people of Imo State really know how to make a person feel welcome!''.More photos below.
