  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. SENATE PASSED THE BUDGET BENCHMARKS FOR 2018-2020,TODAY.{PHOTO}

    Today at the Nigerian Senate, we passed the budget benchmarks for the 2018-2020 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) in accordance with the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2007.
We also approved the following benchmarks:
- N2.3 million barrels per day; 
- $47 barrel per day as benchmark price of 2018; 
- Exchange rate of N305 to $1; 
- N5.279 trillion for non-revenue oil in 2018; 
- N1.6999 trillion for new borrowing for 2018; and 
- An estimated 3.5% growth rate.
It is our hope that all the relevant revenue generating agencies will meet their targets.In the areas of the oil and gas sector, the Ministry of Petroleum and the NNPC must work to ensure that the benchmark for production that we passed must be met.
