 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A MAN SLASHED THE NECK OF HIS GIRLFRIEND OVER A PIECE OF MEAT DURING CHRISTMAS.{PHOTO}.

        An angry youngman identified as Raymond Boabey, has slashed the neck of his 18 year old girlfriend over arguments which escalated over a piece of meat.
Narrating the incident, Theodora Ansah, a hairdresser said she and Raymond whom she is cohabiting with got into a fight which begun on 25 December over one piece of meat she served him.According to her, she didn’t have enough to prepare her Christmas meal so she served him rice with one piece of meat which the boyfriend wasn’t happy about, so he confronted her angrily and slapped her in the process and kicked the lady out of his home.The victim, who is a mother of two, a three year old and a one and half year old daughters however escaped death from a near butchering incidence.Raymond who is a construction worker at Likpe Mate, a suburb of Hohoe in the Volta region however in a bid to settle the argument visited the lady to apologize and asked her to let him go home with her daughter from another man which she obliged.
