 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker.       The Global Customs Community will be celebrating her Annual International Customs Day (ICD) on the 26th January, 2018. The Theme for this year is "A Secure Business Environment for Economic Development". This entails that all members of WCO focus more on promoting activities that secures and creates enabling environment for business to thrive.
In keeping with the tradition of the WCO, Officers, Government agencies and private organizations that have distinguished themselves in the areas of promoting and creating enabling business environment will be honoured with the prestigious WCO Award during the event.Nigeria Customs Service will be joining its global Customs Community to celebrate this year's ICD scheduled as follows:

Venue: NSC Command and Staff College and WCO Training Centre Gwagwalada-Abuja.
