A FLORIDA SEA TOW CAPTAIN SAVED A MAN FROM A BURNING SHIP ONLY TO BE SHOVED OVERBOARD AND HAVE HIS BOAT STOLEN.(PHOTO)

 No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

    Governor Samuel Ortom today condoled former Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro over the death of his wife, Mrs. Veronica Moro.
Speaking when he delivered a condolence letter to Comrade Moro at his Ugbokolo residence, the Governor described the loss as painful and irreparable.
He prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the bereaved family members the fortitude to bear the loss.
Governor Ortom described Abba Moro as an old time friend with whom he shared a lot of family ties, saying the visit was beyond partisanship.
Responding, Comrade Moro expressed appreciation for the visit, even as he also condoled with the Governor and people of Okpokwu over the killing of 24 persons yesterday by militia herdsmen.
While commending Governor Ortom for the courageous steps he had taken in securing the land, Comrade Moro said with the prayers of Benue people and other Nigerians, the menace of herdsmen attacks would soon become a thing of the past.
He pledged continued support to the Ortom-led administration especially in the area of security.Comrade Moro described the massacre of 24 members of Omusu community as barbaric and unfortunate, saying what had befallen the area was condemnable.More photos below.
