 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 3 ILLEGAL PETROLEUM DEALERS IN EFCC CUSTODY. {PHOTOS}.

     The Uyo Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday April 10, 2018, took over three suspects and a Dangote truck conveying illegaly refined petroleum product suspected to be crude oil.
They were arrested by men of the 2nd Brigade, Nigerian Army, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. The suspects who were arrested at Abak Road checkpoint include Ibrahim Usman, Suleiman Mohammed and Suleiman Adams. They were arrested during a routine check, where it was discovered that rather than convey cement, the arrested Dangote Truck with Kano State registration number, KNC 145 XA, was conveying illegally refined petroleum product concealed in huge cellophane bags numbering about 190, one hundred and ninety. At the time of their arrest, the trio could not produce any licence that authorised them to deal in petroleum product, neither was there a waybill to cover the conveyance of the said product. The Commission has commenced further investigation into the matter and they would be arraigned as soon as investigation is concluded.More photos below.
