 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. 3 ILLEGAL PETROLEUM DEALERS IN EFCC CUSTODY. {PHOTOS}.

     The Uyo Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday April 10, 2018, took over three suspects and a Dangote truck conveying illegaly refined petroleum product suspected to be crude oil.
They were arrested by men of the 2nd Brigade, Nigerian Army, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. The suspects who were arrested at Abak Road checkpoint include Ibrahim Usman, Suleiman Mohammed and Suleiman Adams. They were arrested during a routine check, where it was discovered that rather than convey cement, the arrested Dangote Truck with Kano State registration number, KNC 145 XA, was conveying illegally refined petroleum product concealed in huge cellophane bags numbering about 190, one hundred and ninety. At the time of their arrest, the trio could not produce any licence that authorised them to deal in petroleum product, neither was there a waybill to cover the conveyance of the said product. The Commission has commenced further investigation into the matter and they would be arraigned as soon as investigation is concluded.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
