 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   President Tinubu Reconstitutes the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission   President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the reconstitution of the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), following the Senate's confirmation of its members on December 16.   Members of the reconstituted Board are:   • Mulisiu Olalekan Oseni, PhD. — Chairman   Dr Oseni started his service as a Commissioner in January 2017. He was subsequently appointed Vice Chairman of the Commission.   His appointment as Chairman took effect from 1 December 2025 and shall subsist until the completion of his ten-year tenure at the Commission, in accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2023.   • Yusuf Ali, PhD. — Vice Chairman   Dr Ali was first appointed as a Commissioner in February 2022.       The thugs who invaded the Nigerian Senate on wednesday and stole its mace have been identified.
The five suspects have been arrested by the FCT police command after they brazenly broke into the chambers of the National assembly and forcefully escaped with the Mace, the symbol of authority of the nation’s legislature.
The criminals were led into the Red Chambers by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, are all from Delta State.
The names are:
1. PETER OREDE – Warri South LGA
2. BLESSING EDJEKE from Abraka In Ethiope East LGA
3. TUOYO MABIAKU – Warri North Local Government Area
4. LUCKY OKOMU from Oghara in Ethiope West LGA
5. PRINCE ENAYEMO – Ughelli South LGA
These are the willing tools for the caliphate and saboteurs of Delta state, Niger delta and southern Nigeria. With the heavy security around Senate house nobody can break into its red chambers without authority and security clearance from IG and presidency.More photos below.
