 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. ABUJA BUSINESS MAN 'CHINEDU'' WAS BEATEN TO DEATH BY UNKNOWN PERSON.{PHOTOS}.

Abuja-based businessman beaten to death in Enugu.
      According to sources, who just sent in this photos with the caption ''An Abuja-based businessman, Chinedu Nzegwu, has been beaten to death by unknown evil men in Enugu State.
This was made known by his friends, colleagues and former schoolmates who took to their Facebook accounts to mourn his untimely death.Chinedu, who lives in Abuja until his death, is a former student of Dennis Memorial Grammar School DMGS, Onitsha, Anambra State and a graduate of the University of Port-Harcourt.He was reportedly attacked by yet-to-be-identified people who left him for death after hitting him with a big stick on the head.It was gathered that the sad incident happened few days before his planned return to Abuja.Meanwhile, reason for his killing is not yet known''.
