 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. NIGERIA SIGNED A MoU WITH THE UNITED STATES GOVT ON THE NAIIS.{PHOTO}.


   Related image  Nigeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States Government, on the Nigeria HIV/AIDS Indicator and Impact Assessment Survey (NAIIS).
The survey, which will begin on June 1, 2018, will be the largest population- based study for HIV/AIDS conducted in the world.
"Not only are we going to look for HIV, we are also going to look for Hepatitis. We are going to link them up with treatment. As you know there is treatment for HepC, we will drive forward efforts to cure Nigerians of Hepatitis C also." - Minister of Health Isaac Adewole
"I will like to call on all Nigerians to engage with us fully. To make sure this (largest HIV survey in the world) is done successfully. This is an opportunity for Nigeria to better understand the full extent of the challenges of HIV the country is faced with. This survey will help our interventions be better focused and indeed sustainable."- Director General of National Action Against AIDS (NACA) Sani Aliyu.
