 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. NIGERIA SIGNED A MoU WITH THE UNITED STATES GOVT ON THE NAIIS.{PHOTO}.


   Related image  Nigeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States Government, on the Nigeria HIV/AIDS Indicator and Impact Assessment Survey (NAIIS).
The survey, which will begin on June 1, 2018, will be the largest population- based study for HIV/AIDS conducted in the world.
"Not only are we going to look for HIV, we are also going to look for Hepatitis. We are going to link them up with treatment. As you know there is treatment for HepC, we will drive forward efforts to cure Nigerians of Hepatitis C also." - Minister of Health Isaac Adewole
"I will like to call on all Nigerians to engage with us fully. To make sure this (largest HIV survey in the world) is done successfully. This is an opportunity for Nigeria to better understand the full extent of the challenges of HIV the country is faced with.
