 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. MAN WITH BULLET WOUND FOUND DEAD IN RELIEF MARKET NEAR ONITSHA,ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTO}.

    A 21-year-old man with suspected bullet injury has been found dead at the Relief Market, Okpoko, near Onitsha, Anambra State.
The deceased, identified as Emmanuel Nwankwo, a resident of New Estate, Oba, was said to have been found by a member of the market’s vigilance group, Charles Ene, on Tuesday.
Ene reportedly alerted the police, who came to the scene and took the victim to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the incident.
He said, “Nwankwo was certified dead by a medical doctor at the General Hospital, Onitsha, where he was taken to by police detectives attached to Okpoko division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Ibrahim Jauro.”
Mohammed said the corpse had been deposited in a morgue for autopsy.
The PPRO said preliminary investigation showed that Nwankwo was shot in the thigh, adding that expended ammunition was recovered from the scene.He said, “The Commissioner of Police, Mr Garba Umar, has ordered that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.”
