There was uproar on the internet as Meghan Markle was photographed over the weekend {on Saturday} wearing a off-shoulder gown at the Queens birthday parade. Some people claimed that is too early for her to be wearing rebellious outfits ,meanwhile another set of people are claiming that the Queen must have approved of the gown but some times her approval does not mean you should wear it.She needs to learn how to cover up.
The Queen and other members of The Royal Family attended The Queen’s birthday parade on Horse Guards Parade - Trooping the Colour.
This year, the 1st Battalion The Coldstream Guards were being "Trooped" and it was first time The Duke of York rode for the first time in his role as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. His Royal Highness took over as Colonel from his father, The Duke of Edinburgh, in December 2017.During her reign The Queen has attended Trooping the Colour every year except 1955 when it was cancelled because of the general strike. In this photo the then Princess Elizabeth accompanies King George VI in 1947, in HM's first Trooping the Colour since she was made Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. The other Royal Colonels are The Princess Royal (riding as Colonel of the Blues and Royals), The Prince of Wales (riding as Colonel of the Welsh Guards) and The Duke of Cambridge (riding as Colonel of the Irish Guards). Following Trooping, members of The Royal Family stood on the balcony to watch a fly past, in which 23 aircraft took part highlighting the range of aircraft used by the Royal Air Force, including the Red Arrows Aerobatic Team, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, helicopters and fast jet combat aircraft.More photos below.
