 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. C.I.C ALUMNI BUILT A 540 BED HOSTEL FOR THEIR SCHOOL IN ENUGU.{PHOTOS}.

      The power of alumni fully in display as alumni of College of Immaculate Conception (C.I.C) Enugu build a 540 bed hostel for the school.
The hostel complex which is fitted with modern facilities and can comfortably accommodate 540 students was commissioned today, Friday, August 3, 2018 as part of their ongoing 2018 global convention.
In his remarks, the Principal of the school, Reverend Father Hilary Mgbodile thanked the alumni for their kind gesture and said that they have continued to make C.I.C Enugu the pride of secondary schools in Enugu state and beyond.Speaking at the ceremony, Nze Uche Nworah, Managing Director and CEO of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), an alumnus of the school said that the project wouldn't have been possible without the commitment of the alumni. He said that it was their own way of investing in the future of the students and hoped that they will keep the hostel facilities in good condition.One more photo below.
