 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. C.I.C ALUMNI BUILT A 540 BED HOSTEL FOR THEIR SCHOOL IN ENUGU.{PHOTOS}.

      The power of alumni fully in display as alumni of College of Immaculate Conception (C.I.C) Enugu build a 540 bed hostel for the school.
The hostel complex which is fitted with modern facilities and can comfortably accommodate 540 students was commissioned today, Friday, August 3, 2018 as part of their ongoing 2018 global convention.
In his remarks, the Principal of the school, Reverend Father Hilary Mgbodile thanked the alumni for their kind gesture and said that they have continued to make C.I.C Enugu the pride of secondary schools in Enugu state and beyond.Speaking at the ceremony, Nze Uche Nworah, Managing Director and CEO of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), an alumnus of the school said that the project wouldn't have been possible without the commitment of the alumni. He said that it was their own way of investing in the future of the students and hoped that they will keep the hostel facilities in good condition.One more photo below.
