  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT PARTNERS WITH NIGER, FRANCE AND UNITED KINGDOM ON TACKLING CROSS BORDER CRIMES.#PRESS RELEASE.

      Nigerian government has entered into a new partnership with the governments of Niger, France and the United Kingdom on tackling cross border crimes.
Making the disclosure today in Abuja, the Honourable Minister of Interior, Lt General (Rtd), Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, said the proposal was a fallout of a sideline meeting of the four countries at the Regional Conference on Anti-human Trafficking/Smuggling of Migrants held in Niamey, in Niger Republic on June 18 & 19, 2018.
The Interior Minister said the partnership was initiated by the United Kingdom and France to strengthen collaboration with Nigeria and Niger Republic in the area of border management, intelligence sharing and legal cooperation.Gen Damabazau added that the partnership, which seeks to strengthen cooperation among security agencies of the four countries in combating human trafficking, drugs peddling, illicit arms proliferation and terrorism is expected to deliver on its objectives within the duration of 12-36 months.
