 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status.      Yesterday evening, The Duchess of Sussex attended the opening of a new exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. ‘Oceania’ celebrates the diverse art from the region – bringing together over 200 pieces from the last 500 years. The Duchess spent time viewing exhibits from regions including New Zealand, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and Australia – countries The Duke and Duchess will visit in October.
Her Royal Highness also watched a short performance of Ngāti Rānana, a Māori cultural group, and met Oceania’s curators and artists as well as the descendants linked to the works displayed.The Royal Academy’s Oceania is open from 29 Sept to 10 Dec 2018.More photos below.
