 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. NEMA DEPLOYED WATER PURIFIER MOBILE EQUIPMENT TO IDPS NIGER,KOGI,ANAMBRA AND DELTA.{PHOTOS}.

     NEMA has deployed water purifier mobile equipment to IDPs camps in the worst affected communities that were devastated by flood. The states are Niger, Kogi, Anambra and Delta where the agency, acting on the authority delegated by the President has declared a national emergency. The water purifier mobile equipment have been moved to the states with NEMA staff trained on the operations to help in providing clean water for the IDPs in the camps.One more photo below.
