 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. ARMY ENCOUNTERS BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS IN BORNO STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    1. Troops of Sector 3 Operation LAFIYA DOLE deployed at Mairari in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force while on routine patrol in Mairari and environs on Sunday 7 October 2018 encountered suspected Boko Haram terrorists.
2. A member of the Boko Haram terrorists was neutralised while several others fled into nearby bushes with gunshot injuries during the encounter.
3. Items recovered include:
a. One AK47 rifle.
b. Four Magazines.
c. One 36 Hand Grenade.
d. 13 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition.
4. Unfortunately, a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force sustained gunshot wound and has since been evacuated to Sector 3 medical facility for attention.
5. The public is therefore advised to report any suspicious movements or activities in their area to security agency for prompt action.
