 Anambra HOS Visits Ministry of Women Affairs Again, Warns On Absenteeism, Insurbordination By Stella Anekwe The Anambra State Head of Service, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno Esq.,mni, on April 29, visited the Ministry of Women Affairs , 29 days after her first visit, warning workers of absenteeism and insurbordination. She frowned at the lack of respect and insubordination witnessed among the staff against the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, warning that if such is reported again, she would post out all the staff. She reminded the workers at the ministry of Women Affairs that the ministry is the gateway of the grassroots to the civil service hence, the workers should be puntual and service oriented always. She said that with the 216 lawyers in the Ministry of Justice that the civil service has enough lawyers for litigation against those flagrantly disobeying the civil service rules and code of service. LAGOS 'VIS' EXTENDS VEHICLE DOCUMENTS REVALIDATION SERVICES TO WEEKENDS.#PRESS RELEASE.

     The Lagos State Vehicle Inspection Services (VIS) has extended its various services to Saturdays to enable motorists in the State revalidate their vehicle particulars and other services.
The Director, Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) in Lagos State, Engr. Gbolahan Toriola stated this today at Ikeja, noting that vehicle owners are mostly busy during the weekdays, hence their inability to obtain the necessary vehicle particulars as at when due.
He explained further that despite the accessibility of 24 VIS Area Commands and Zonal Offices spread across the State, motorists still find it difficult to spare the time to obtain the necessary documents required for their vehicles.
Engr. Toriola observed with dismay that motorists who come forward for renewal were found to be carrying fake vehicle particulars in form of motor roadworthiness certificates and insurance papers.
Speaking further, the VIS Director advised that there is a need for proper maintenance of vehicles and regular checks which have been made easy with the establishment of the Lagos State Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centres (LACVIS).
According to Toriola, 10 of such Inspection Centres are available in all the divisions of the State to facilitate modern technology checks on vehicles.
While stressing that LACVIS operates the mobile facility for groups and corporate organisations with large fleets of articulated vehicles, Engr. Toriola disclosed that the Agency has acquired the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system for checking vehicle particulars and traffic violators in replacement of physical enforcement.
He revealed that since the commencement of ANPR, violators have been tracked through the use of ANPR and urged vehicle owners in the State to take advantage of the weekend services extended to the 24 VIS Zonal Offices to perfect their vehicle particulars and conduct necessary checks to avoid the embarrassment that may arise from non-compliance.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
