 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.      It was prayer galore for Nigeria on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the Deeper Life Bible Church, Gbagada, Lagos.
The church played host to Nigeria Prays, an intercessory organization led by former Head of State, Gen Yakubu Gowon, and it was time to besiege Heaven for diverse areas of need in the country-security, agriculture, education, economy, the 2019 elections-and many others.
Gen Gowon was accompanied by his wife, former First Lady, Victoria, while the Chief Host was Pastor W.F Kumuyi, General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, assisted by his wife, Pastor Esther.
Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, was represented by Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Okey Enelamah (standing behind) while President Muhammadu Buhari was represented by his media adviser, Mr Femi Adesina.
