 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. The engagement with the State Government focused on strengthening institutional collaboration in support of ongoing policing reforms anchored on professionalism, accountability, and intelligence-led operations.  The Inspector-General of Police reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to building a modern, service-driven institution that prioritizes public trust and operational efficiency. BENUE AUTO CRASH: PDP MOURNS DEAD MEMBERS+DECLARES THEM HEROES.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) lament the death of its loyal and dedicated members of our great party and other Nigerians in a ghastly motor accident in Benue state.
The party bemoans the painful death of the members and described them as heroes of democracy, who paid the supreme price in the course of their commitment towards rescuing our dear nation from shackles of misrule.
The PDP leadership is particularly pained that these party faithful died on their way to the flag-off of the PDP Benue South Senatorial campaign, in their quest to ensure an acceptable, people-oriented representation of their zone in the Senate.
The PDP commends Governor Samuel Ortom, other leaders and members of the party in Benue state for their interventions and charged members from other states to join in extending their hands of fellowship towards the bereaved and the wounded at this critical time.
The party also called on members to ensure that the deceased did not die in vain by remaining united in working harder, now, more than ever before, to ensure the party’s victory in all elections in the state.
While praying for the peaceful repose of the soul of the dead and speedy recovery for the wounded, the party deeply condoles with their families, the PDP Benue Chapter as well as the government and people of Benue state, for this tragedy.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
