 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.     Musician Lucky Okri who is the CEO of Ofori media,who is the 5th child of his parents,Mr and Mrs Solomon and Mary Okri,was born in the early 70s in the ancient city of Ibadan,Oyo State,and guess what?,his a neurologist,with two Doctorates Degree will be celebrating his birthday on the 1st of January,2019 and his the brain behind the Nigerian Gospel Award which is a yearly event..Pink Republic had a little chat with him today,and below is the gist.

Reply: Hahaha
Question: Yes nah,you are a Doctor and I will address you as such.
Reply: Ok
Question: You are obviously a very humble person,so I will ask why music why not a corporate job.
Reply: When you are called by God,your plans might not be Gods plan but actually I started my showmanship in my old secondary school panorama,I became a hunter,Fisher,sports etc.I noticed I have a unique silky voice so I decided to put it in good use.
Question: Where do you usually perform?
Reply: I do perform in 5 star hotels across the country,over 40 churches,hosted top events like ,Legendary Award,Gospel Alive Nigeria Music Award etc.
Question: What is your relationship with the famous musician 'Mike Okri'
Reply: To caught the long story short,his my brother.
Question:So what special event are you planning for your fans on your birthday?
Reply: A one stand collection of Artistes in Edo State staging a dinner evening for me,by likes of Adviser Nowamagbe,Oligbese,Maleke and others.
Question: What advice can you give a upcoming artist?
Reply: They should be steadfast with what they have at hand.Stay out of drugs and cultism ,Stay close to God and be prayerful always.
Question: What is your New Year resolution?
Reply: To create a standard in all I do,my music,my events and personality and in all to be more closer to God.
