 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. UPDATE ON TROOPS INTERCEPT OF SUICIDE BOMBER IN BORNO STATE.{PHOTOS}.

       Recall that Gallant Troops of 222 Battalion intercepted one suspected female suicide bomber and her accomplice at Mushimari settlement in Konduga L.G.A of Borno State on 19 December 2018. During interrogations, the suspect known as Mrs Aisha Modu, confessed that she dumped her suicide vest in a river on sighting the troops. Consequently, Explosive Ordinance Device experts were mobilized and the explosive vest was successfully recovered and detonated. More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
