  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. The APC Nasarawa State wish to express its deepest concern on video clip that has gone viral in the social media which shows Rt. Hon. Godiya Akwashiki, a Senator-elect on the platform of our great party being beaten and stripped naked.
We condemn in the strongest terms this barbaric act. It is unfortunate that this obnoxious act could be meted on a public figure of this high status, no matter the alleged offence.
It behooves on our esteem party to appeal to our teeming members, and supporters to remain calm and law abiding. All and sundry should restrain themselves from taking the law into their hands.
The party has already set machinery in motion with a view to investigating the incident, in order to establish the facts, and truth of the matter.
Be rest assured that any one found to be involved in this unfortunate incident, and is a member of the APC, will be sanctioned in accordance with the party constitution, just as the party will also allow the laws of the land to take it's due course.
We enjoin all those that could be affected by this incident to exercise patience while the investigation is in progress.
