 Kaduna Councillors Back Gov. Uba Sani’s Vision, Commend Mamman Lagos On Local Government Reforms Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani (CON), has received a significant political endorsement as councillors from the state’s 23 local government areas declared their total support for his grassroots-driven development agenda. The endorsement was made on Tuesday during a solidarity visit by the Forum of Kaduna State Councillors to the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos.  The councillors expressed confidence in Governor Uba Sani’s leadership approach and reaffirmed their belief in his commitment to inclusive governance. BRITISH GOVT CERTIFIES EFCC OPERATIVES AS 'INTERVIEW INVESTIGATION EXPERTS' TODAY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      The British government has certified operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, as Interview Investigation Experts. The certification followed a two-week intensive training for operatives of the Commission who were selected from various zonal offices across the country.
The Coordinator, National Crime Agency Anti-Corruption Projects, NCAACP, Paddy Kerr, while presenting certificates to participants at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja on Friday, March 29, 2019, said the British Government and the EFCC made the investment which is aimed at honing the investigative skills of the operatives for a better performance in the fight against corruption.
According to Kerr, the training was part of the series of planned training by the British Government for the EFCC in supporting the fight against corruption.
Kerr encouraged the participants to put everything they learnt during their two weeks stay at the Academy into use when they return to their stations.
In his remark, the Acting Chairman, Commission, Ibrahim Magu commended the British Government for supporting the EFCC in corruption fight.
Magu spoke through the Acting Head, Administration, EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja, Buba Haruna.
“I want to thank the British Government for supporting the EFCC in the fight against corruption. We are happy with the support and wish that this will continue, he said.
The training titled: Investigative Interviewing Course which started eighteen weeks ago with a total number of thirty one certified participants, is designed to build the capacity of the operatives to adapt the use of ethical interviewing techniques in carrying out investigation instead of the conventional interrogative approach.
A participant, Abdulrasheed Lanre Suleiman, an operative of the EFCC Zonal Office, Ibadan, who said the training exposed him to new skill of investigation said it will impact on the performance of his duties.
Another, Unyime Moses, from Uyo Zonal Office, said: “I learnt how to use interview techniques to get all the facts I need in carrying out investigation.”.One more photo below.
