 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. GOV. AL-MAKURA ORDERS NSUK WATER TO BE SERVED AT ALL GOVERNMENT FUNCTIONS.{PHOTO}.

      The Visitor to Nasarawa State University, Keffi, His Excellency Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, has ordered that henceforth, NSUK Water should be served at all government functions and activities in the states.
Gov. Al-Makura gave the order when he received members of the University Governing Council and Management, who were in Lafia to congratulate him on the successes of the 2019 general elections in the state.
The Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suleiman Bala Mohammed, who represented the Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Adamu Baikie, during his speech presented the rebranded NSUK Water to the Visitor, informing him that the bottle water is ranked among the best in the country.
The governor expressed delight in the fact that the University is progressing in the right direction, noting especially the successes recorded by the Prof. Suleiman's led management.
He said the table water venture will afford the University of alternative source of revenue, different from the statutory sources.
Gov. Al-Makura instantly instructed the Secretary to the State Government, to ensure that NSUK bottle water is served at all government functions in the state.
