 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. GOV. AL-MAKURA ORDERS NSUK WATER TO BE SERVED AT ALL GOVERNMENT FUNCTIONS.{PHOTO}.

      The Visitor to Nasarawa State University, Keffi, His Excellency Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, has ordered that henceforth, NSUK Water should be served at all government functions and activities in the states.
Gov. Al-Makura gave the order when he received members of the University Governing Council and Management, who were in Lafia to congratulate him on the successes of the 2019 general elections in the state.
The Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suleiman Bala Mohammed, who represented the Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Adamu Baikie, during his speech presented the rebranded NSUK Water to the Visitor, informing him that the bottle water is ranked among the best in the country.
The governor expressed delight in the fact that the University is progressing in the right direction, noting especially the successes recorded by the Prof. Suleiman's led management.
He said the table water venture will afford the University of alternative source of revenue, different from the statutory sources.
Gov. Al-Makura instantly instructed the Secretary to the State Government, to ensure that NSUK bottle water is served at all government functions in the state.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
