 GOVERNOR UBA APPRECIATES PRESIDENT TINUBU ON THE AWARD OF STRATEGIC CONTRACTS WORTH  ₦1.178 TRILLION IN KADUNA STATE   Kaduna State governor has extended appreciation to President Tinubu, and the Federal Executive Council for the approval and award of transformative infrastructure contracts that will indelibly reshape the economic and social landscape of the state.   The statement personally signed by the governor lists the projects as follows; the Kaduna Light Rail Project an ambitious undertaking spanning a Kilometers corridor from Rigachikun to Sabon Tasha, alongside a Kilometers line from Millennium City to Rigasa, forming a 50-kilometre metropolitan network with an estimated value of One Trillion Naira. Man hacks 99-year-old aunt to death for not winning lottery
      Police in Ogun State have arrested a 29-year-old man, Owolabi Folorunsho, for allegedly hacking his 99-year-old aunty to death.
The suspect was said to have been arrested following a distress call received by the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ago-Iwoye, CSP Ade Adedoyin, that the a middle-aged man had butchered his aunt, Ebunola Aroboto, to death.
It was learnt that the incident occurred at Maraisa Lane, Igan Road, Ago-Iwoye, yesterday.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said immediately the DPO received the distressed call, he quickly led his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested and the machete used by the suspect was recovered at the scene.
Oyeyemi said during interrogation, the suspect admitted killing the old woman with a machete because he had an inclination that the woman was responsible for most of his spiritual problems.
He said: “The suspect was a regular player of lottery game and whenever he is sure of wining, the deceased, who was his father’s elder sister, will use her supernatural power to change the winning number, which prevented him from winning.”
Oyeyemi added that the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Ijebu-Ode, General Hospital, for post-mortem examination.
According to the PPRO, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), DCP Wale Abass, to take over the case and ensure diligent prosecution of the suspect.
