 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.     In memory of all those who lost their lives, and to the families whose lives were changed forever.” — Yesterday The Duke of Sussex attended a dedication ceremony and officially opened the Sousse and Bardo Memorial, dedicated to those who lost their lives and all those affected by the terrorist attacks in Tunisia on the Bardo Museum on 18 March 2015, and in the resort of Port El Kantaoui, Sousse on 26 June 2015.
The centrepiece of the memorial is a sculpture titled ‘Infinite Wave’ made up of 31 individual streams, each one representing the British nationals who lost their lives in the Bardo Museum attack in March 2015 and the Sousse attack in June 2015. Following today’s dedication ceremony, The Duke met some of the families of those affected by the attacks.More photos below.
