 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. THE QUEEN HOSTED A RECEPTION TO MARK THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INVESTITURE OF THE PRINCE OF WALES {PRINCE CHARLES}.{PHOTOS}.

      Her Majesty The Queen yesterday hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the 50th anniversary of the investiture of The Prince of Wales.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and The Princess Royal met guests and watched musical performances by students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Guests included representatives from The Prince of Wales’s Welsh charities and patronages.
Prince Charles was created The Prince of Wales aged 9 on July 26th 1958 and was formally invested with the title by Her Majesty on July 1st 1969. Investiture Regalia worn by The Prince in 1969, including the Investiture Coronet, Sword, Ring and Rod, were on display today.
The Archbishop of Canterbury gave a speech, thanking The Prince of Wales for his service to Wales.More photos below.
