 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. GOV. ORTOM MEETS WITH STAKEHOLDERS FROM FIVE LGAs TOMORROW.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, willl meet with major stakeholders from Katsina-Ala, Ukum , Logo, Kwande and Gboko local government areas at the New Banquet Hall of the Benue Peoples House at 11 am prompt, tomorrow, Thursday , 25th, April, 2019.
The agenda of the meeting will be a discussion of the prevailing security challenges in those areas.
A formal invitation to the meeting is being extended to the concerned stakeholders not specifically mentioned.
These include District Heads, Third, Second and First Class Traditional Rulers, local government chairmen, serving and elected Natonal and State Assembly members, selected religious leaders as well as other prominent sons and daughters from the local government areas.
A similar meeting will be held with stakeholders from Agatu local government area at the same venue to discuss same agenda on Friday, 26th April, 2019 at 10 am.
