 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali.   The 2019 MET Gala is set to hold next month the 6th of May and the theme for the fashion event is ''CAMP- NOTES ON FASHION''.I can tell you for free a-lot of guest for this event will wear boots and ladies will wear boots with gown .Then the men,a lot of them will wear hats to give it that camp look,some women too might wear crazy classic hats and capes too like Red-Ridinghood. I will not be surprise if someone wears newspaper print either inform of a gown or suit.Designers this year need to be very creative.From my findings the theme was inspired by Susan Sontag 1964 essay that defines camp as ''love of the un-natural: of artifice and exaggeration''.More photos below that might have been worn by celebrities that is meant for this theme.
