 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.   The 2019 MET Gala is set to hold next month the 6th of May and the theme for the fashion event is ''CAMP- NOTES ON FASHION''.I can tell you for free a-lot of guest for this event will wear boots and ladies will wear boots with gown .Then the men,a lot of them will wear hats to give it that camp look,some women too might wear crazy classic hats and capes too like Red-Ridinghood. I will not be surprise if someone wears newspaper print either inform of a gown or suit.Designers this year need to be very creative.From my findings the theme was inspired by Susan Sontag 1964 essay that defines camp as ''love of the un-natural: of artifice and exaggeration''.More photos below that might have been worn by celebrities that is meant for this theme.
