 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. GOV. ORTOM APPRECIATES PARADE MOUNTED IN HIS HONOUR TODAY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Governor Samuel Ortom has appreciated the security agencies for the impressive parade mounted in his honour as part of activities lined up for his inauguration today at the IBB Square Makurdi.
The Governor who stated this after inspecting the parade commended the Nigerian Police for being professional in their conduct even when the state was confronted with security challenges.
He also commended sister security agencies for their enormous contributions to the restoration of peace in the state, saying they had done their best in combating criminality and killings in the Food Basket State.
He sympathized with families of fallen heroes who died in the course of defending the state, even as he ordered for the observation of a one minute silence in their honour.
The Governor also prayed God to grant the fallen heroes eternal rest.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
