 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. A MAN CUTS OFF THE HAND OF A BOY OVER THE WEEKEND AT OKOKO.{GRAPHIC PHOTOS}.

    The Police Command in Lagos State has arrested a fish farmer, Jeremiah Obifor, 61, for allegedly cutting off the hand of an 11-year-old boy, Goodluck Amechi. The Spokesperson of the police in Lagos state, DSP Bala Elkana, said in a statement in Lagos on Sunday that the man cut off the boy’s hand who he suspected had come to steal his fish. Elkana said that the suspect was arrested after the victim’s foster mother, Doris Isaac, reported the matter at the Okoko, Police Station. He said that on June 7 at about 12:20pm the boy’s foster mother who resided at No.6 Ajanaku Street, Okoko, reported the matter at the Okoko police station.
The police spokesperson said that Obifor attacked the 11-year-old boy with a machete and cut off his right hand. “The victim was rushed to Igando General Hospital. “The suspect alleged that he saw the victim around his fish pond and thought that he came to steal his fish and that was why he attacked him.More photos below.
