 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.      The Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has described late legal luminary and politician, Chief Jonathan Adebayo Osipitan as one of the pillars of the legal profession, who exemplified the values and ethics of the profession until his death.
Professor Osibajo who stated this at the final burial ceremony of Chief Osipitan, at the St. Luke's Anglican Church, Oru-Ijebu, said the deceased love for the law profession and his commitment to integrity, forthrightness and the ethics of the profession was highly commendable.
He appreciated the high values which the late legal luminary established through his law firm, saying that the values left behind has been maintained over the years by younger generations of lawyers, commending the children for sustaining the values.
In his remark, the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, described late Chief Osipitan as a thorough breed christian whose contributions in the areas of law and politics would stand a test of time.
The Governor noted that occasions like burials, afforded people, including himself an opportunity to know that it was important to live a good life at all times, advising parents to endeavor to leave behind good legacies for their children.
In a message titled " Teach us to number our days", taken from the book of Psalms, Chapter 90, verse 12, the Bishop, Egba West Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev Samuel Ogundeji, charged the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun not to put his trust in any man, but in God, so as to take the State to the next level.
"My Governor, take your time to select those who will work with you. Please do only those things that will put smile on the faces of the people and the good Lord will support you", he counselled.
The Clergyman who also advised the people to live a righteous life as death was the final destination of man, said it was imperative for all to serve God as the deceased did during his life time, since no man would live forever.More photos below.
