 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. 3 CULTIST ARRESTED IN ANAMBRA STATE AFTER THEY GANG RAPED 2 GIRLS AND INITIATED THEM.{PHOTO}.

     Anambra Police nab three suspected cultists who abducted, gang raped two young girls and forced them to undergo initiation rituals...

The Anambra State Police Command on Thursday, paraded three suspected cultists over the abduction and rape of two young girls.

Briefing newsmen, spokesperson of the command, SP Haruna Mohammed said that on Wednesday, Surveillance Patrol team attached to Awada Division arrested Andrew Ejike, 20, Chidiebere Edwin, 19 and Chisom Christian, 17.

"All the suspects, who have confessed to their membership of a cult group known as the "SAITARIS" abducted two young girls aged 15 and 17years and forced them to undergo some initiation rituals and allegedly gang raped the two young girls before letting them go." said Mohammed.

The case is under investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.
