 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. GOV. FAYEMI DISTRIBUTES TEACHING AIDS TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN EKITI STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, on Tuesday took another step towards the actualisation of his administration’s education and human capital development agenda by distributing instructional materials to public schools in the State.
At a colourful event held within the premises of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) on Okesa Street, Ado-Ekiti, the Governor, who was represented by Commissioner for Education, Evangelist Foluso Daramola, described the distribution as a demonstration of government’s commitment to ensuring qualitative education at all levels.
According to him, the distribution of text books, library resource materials and other instructional materials jointly provided by the State Government and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) was meant to strengthen teaching and learning in public schools across the State.
In his own goodwill message, the Chairman of the State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) in Ekiti State, Mr. S.O Olugbesan, extolled the Governor for his laudable programmes in all facets in the State, particularly, the education sector. He said 65 million naira was released at the last JAAC meeting for the payment of leave bonus of primary school teachers, totalling 95 million naira released so far.
This distribution is coming barely three months after the Governor flagged off distribution of teaching aids to public schools in Ekiti State. The beneficiaries are pupils in the basic education level – primary and junior secondary schools.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
