  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.      President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that his administration will strive to complete on-going projects that will impact positively on the lives of the people.
Speaking Wednesday when he received the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli at the State House in Abuja, President Buhari said he was mindful of what infrastructural development could bring to uplift the standard of living of the people.
He also said that his administration was taking new measures to address the security situation in the country.
Replying to comments that the Itsekiri people gave him massive support during the elections, the President remarked that he appreciated the support, saying, “I have all the figures of votes I got and I know what itsekiri people did.”
Earlier, the traditional ruler who spoke through Chief Brown Mene congratulated the President on his electoral victory and commended him for his successes so far in the battle against insurgency and his continued determination to tackle corruption.
While also praising the President for dredging works on the Escravos and Warri Rivers, the Olu of Warri requested for intervention on some ecological problems in his domain as well as the resolution of issues surrounding the Ogidigben Gas Revolution Park.
