Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". He confirms that they “recently separated” and says he wishes Cyrus “nothing but health and happiness going forward.” He then calls out the Daily Mail for claiming he gave one of their reporters an interview. He said he didn’t — and won’t be talking to any media outlets about the “private matter.”
Hemsworth — who has been radio silent about the breakup and Cyrus and Carter’s steamy vacation — is tracked by a Daily Mail reporter in Australia as he gets frozen yogurt in Byron Bay. “You don't understand what it's like,” he tells a reporter asking about the split. “I don't want to talk about it, mate.” According to the tabloid, he’s been staying with his brother Chris Hemsworth and his family.
